Uniquely, the ERP also includes a rental management component to offer products for rent or lease instead of purchase. The software is used to assign prices, create recurring rentals, assign statuses to items, and to track the life cycle of a rented item from the moment it is made available to the moment it is returned.

Order management systemr

Customers can place orders for consumable inventory items or rental items using the website, email, or even telephone. Orders are converted into quotes, which are mailed to customers for approval before being converted to work orders. Work orders automatically change inventory levels to eliminate stock inconsistencies.

Maintenance and service tracking

Returned rental items can be assigned custom statuses, such as Maintenance or Repair. Internal work orders can be created to calculate the cost of maintenance and sent to different departments for processing.

Custom accounting system

The accounting system for Lock8 was upgraded with custom reporting and key functionality such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit balance information, and general ledger information to ensure accuracy and precision in daily operations.
