Sharon Gun Club Streamlined its Daily Operations with a Custom ERP Solution by Vestra Inet

Sharon Gun Club is a private, member-owned sports shooting facility in Ontario.  They have unique shooting range facilities at a convenient distance to the Greater Toronto Area. Their club supports a wide range of shooting sports and the athletes who compete in them. These sports include bullseye target, precision rifle, trap shooting, and various practical shooting disciplines including IPSC, IDPA, and ICORE.

Owners of the prestigious Sharon Gun Club wanted to build a system that would help them manage operations, which includes memberships (including registration and renewals), allow share purchasing and rentals, simplify shooting range scheduling, process payments, and generate invoices and reports. 

 

To fulfill these requirements, a comprehensive Custom ERP system was developed with several functionalities. The primary feature of this entire ERP system is that it allows users to purchase shares in the gun club. The share management system also permits shareowners to rent their shares to other users if they are not currently in use by the original shareholder via the same portal.

 

Another key feature of the Custom ERP system is shooting range scheduling, which allows members to view a calendar of the ranges, schedule their visits, and book a range or a type of sport. This system has streamlined scheduling calendars for the club, reducing the time that was otherwise taken up by phone calls and facilitating the coordination between staff and members. 

 

Furthermore, for the process to work properly, the whole ERP system is capable of performing services such as booking administration, membership and shareholder management, and is integrated with a full-fledged Financial Module. The booking management system developed for this project allows the club staff to schedule on-range courses, plan events, coordinate memberships and shares of the club, produce invoices, and generate reports.

 

In addition to all the above-mentioned features, the Custom ERP system is also integrated with an E-commerce System. The online store comprises various product categories and allows users to purchase merchandise like t-shirts, hats, hoodies, and glasses. Users can also order lunch and buy Target machines online. 

 

Finally, with a large member and shareholder base, multiple ranges to manage simultaneously, and running a full-fledged e-commerce store, the gun club owners sought a tool for better handling the financial side of shooting range scheduling. This is accomplished using an advanced financial module that is also part of the Custom ERP system. This module manages membership renewals, tracks shares, and accounts for the course, merchandise, and other purchases. 

 

As a result of a Custom ERP system, complete with online scheduling, invoice generation, membership management, course and event registration, reporting system, and financial module, Sharon Gun Club owners have received a solution that has facilitated club operations, reduced staff involvement, and offered a simple and intuitive interface for members to use.
